7 Free WordPress Tools, No Sign-Up Required: Our Toolbox

There's a kind of website we all know: you just want to check an ads.txt or build a schema snippet, and first you're supposed to create an account, subscribe to a newsletter, and click away three cookie banners. For exactly these moments we built our tools page: seven tools that run in the browser without sign-up and send no data to us – the computing happens on your device. Here's the overview of what each one is good for.

The three calculators

1. Platform fee calculator

If you sell online courses, you pay between zero and thirty percent in fees depending on the platform – and hardly anyone ever runs the actual numbers. The platform fee calculator puts course platforms, payment providers, and your own WordPress setup side by side: enter your revenue, compare the fee burden. 2. Adblock loss calculator

Between a fifth and a third of visitors block ads – and that share never shows up in any AdSense report, it's simply missing. The adblock loss calculator estimates how much revenue that actually costs. 3. AdSense calculator with ads.txt generator

The AdSense calculator answers the question every publisher asks and hardly anyone answers realistically: what do my page views actually bring in? Enter page views, CTR, and CPC, get an estimate – and generate a correct ads.txt for download in the same tool. 4. .htaccess generator

Hardly any file can speed up a website as quickly – or take it down as thoroughly – as the .htaccess. The .htaccess generator assembles the common blocks: caching, compression, redirects, security headers, all by checkbox instead of by typo. 5. Schema generator

Structured data is the most direct route to rich results in Google Search – FAQ boxes, review stars, breadcrumbs. 6. Emoji password generator

Our quirkiest tool: the emoji password generator uses true crypto randomness to roll an absurd little emoji story and turns it into a strong password you can actually remember. Sounds like a gimmick, but it has a serious core – we wrote it up in the post Emoji in your password.

7. Hafen-Ipsum: the placeholder text generator

Placeholder text doesn't have to be Latin. Hafen-Ipsum generates German placeholder text with realistic word lengths and sentence rhythms – because "lorem ipsum" tests a layout worse than it looks: no umlauts, no long compounds, the wrong language statistics. Why free and without sign-up?

The honest answer: these tools are our shop window. Whoever finds the ads.txt generator useful might also take a look at Adjet; whoever uses the fee calculator might discover MemberJet. But the shop window only works if it's open with no strings attached – so no sign-up, no tracking of your inputs, no artificially crippled "free version". A tool that asks for your email address first isn't a tool, it's bait.
