AdSense Publisher Kit: estimate earnings & create ads.txt

Two tools in one: get a rough estimate of what AdSense could earn you with your traffic – then generate the matching ads.txt file so AdSense doesn’t warn about earnings at risk.

views/month
%
€
Ballpark values to play with, not Google figures:
€350.00 estimated earnings / month
€4,200.00 estimated earnings / year
Step by step
  1. 1. Clicks 100,000 × 1.00 % = 1,000
  2. 2. Earnings 1,000 × €0.35 = €350.00
  3. 3. Per year €350.00 × 12 = €4,200.00

All three inputs are your assumptions, not measured data from Google. Your assumption equals an RPM of €3.50, meaning €3.50 per 1,000 page views.

Just a rough estimate

Real AdSense RPMs vary a lot depending on niche, visitor country, season, ad format and Google’s algorithm. This calculation only shows the formula page views × CTR × CPC transparently – it is not a substitute for real numbers in your AdSense account.

How to set up the file

  1. Download the file with the button above (file name: ads.txt).
  2. Upload it via FTP or file manager to the root directory of your domain, the same folder as your wp-config.php.
  3. Check in the browser whether it is reachable at yourdomain.com/ads.txt, without a 404 and without a redirect.
If ads.txt is missing or incorrect, AdSense shows the "Earnings at risk" warning – demand platforms then tend to bid less or not at all.
